Hyderabad police have arrested former MLA Rama Rao who fired in the air while dealing with a land dispute. A FIR has been filed against Rama Rao who admitted to have fired in the air. Rama Rao has been admitted in the hospital who complained of ill health.

The Telugu Desam Party Telangana forum met today to discuss about senior MLA Nagam Janardhan Reddy's public meet in Nagarkurnool. It is known that Nagam has earlier proposed a public meet to inspire the telangana activists towards a separate Telangana state. TDP MLAs Motkupalli Narasimhulu, Gampa Govardhan, Gangula Kamalakar, KS Rantam, Prakash Goud and MLC Narendra Reddy met at the resident of Erabilli Dayakar Rao. They later met TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu and requested him to form a 'Telangana Sadhana Committee'.

The State Congress affairs incharge Ghulam Nabi Azad met with State PCC President D Srinivas in New Delhi today. They reportedly have discussed about the Kadapa and Pulivendula byelection and Telangana issue. Srinivas will meet various Congress high command leaders till Wednesday.

Srinivas, a constable at the Kukatpally police station has opened fire against a female constable Lalitha and then shot himself. Both have been admitted at the Apollo hospital. It is learnt that Srinivas has been pressurizing Lalitha to love him since several days.

Ambati Rambabu confident YSR Congress party will sweep the Kadapa and Pulivendula byelection.

Power generation came to a halt at the Kakatiya Thermal Power Project in Warangal district due to technical difficulties.
